CareerEdge Funders Collaborative, the workforce initiative of the Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce, is pleased to announce the selection of grantees for its highly anticipated upskilling work grant funding. These grants aim to empower individuals with the necessary skills to thrive in today’s rapidly evolving job market, consequently, driving economic growth and ensuring a prosperous future for workers and businesses alike.
CareerEdge’s upskilling worker grant funding is designed to support employer initiatives that enhance the skill sets of workers in a diverse range of industries, including automotive, healthcare, insurance, manufacturing, and skilled trade. CareerEdge offers grant funding to eligible employers who will use the funding to increase employees’ skills, accelerate promotions, and provide wage increases for incumbent workers. This year’s grant cycle saw a great number of high-quality proposals, making the selection process highly competitive.
After an extensive evaluation process, CareerEdge is proud to announce the following organizations as grantees for the upskilling work grant funding:
