Be Prepared For Digital Ballet
By Sarasota Scene |
October 12, 2020 – Sarasota
As our first Digital Program later this month draws ever closer, we want to provide some guidance regarding the different ways you can experience our upcoming ballet performances. Many of you have expressed interest in watching our programming on your home televisions, so we have produced this instructional video to help guide you through the connection process as best we can based on your specific devices. This five-minute overview details the steps involved in connecting many popular internet devices (such as laptops, smartphones, and tablets) to your television. While not intended to be comprehensive, as there are countless methods to configure home video equipment for these purposes, this video addresses the steps and accessories necessary for a few common situations. We have also included several links to purchase some common accessories (as will be detailed in the video) from a couple major retailers. That way, you can determine what you need for your particular devices. Additionally, we’ve also included some optional video tutorials that we thought may be beneficial. Connectivity Instructional Video In addition, below is a link to a test video, hosted in the same fashion as our upcoming performances, to verify that your home theater system is configured properly. Click here to access our test video! After watching this video, if you have any additional questions or concerns regarding setting up your television for our Digital Fall Season, please feel free to contact our Box Office at 941.359.0099 or at boxoffice@sarasotaballet.org. Please understand that, as we have hundreds of subscribers and ticket holders for our performances – and only a limited number of staff – the sooner you can test your connection options, the easier it will be for us to respond to you in a timely fashion. We hope this video addresses your technology-based concerns, and that you thoroughly enjoy this year’s Digital Fall Season. |
