Bank Collecting Toys For Tots

Crews Bank & Trust is participating in the Marine Corps Foundation’s annual Toys for Tots campaign. Customers and residents are invited to bring unwrapped toys to any Arcadia branch during business hours through Dec. 18.

Friday: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Arcadia North, 400 North Brevard Avenue
Monday – Thursday: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Friday: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

“Toys for Tots has brightened the holidays for area kids in need for many years, and we’re proud to be part of this tradition,” said bank President Kevin Hagan. “I’m sure our employees, customers and area residents will continue their support of this wonderful program.”

Toys should be valued at $10 or more. Less expensive items are accepted and will be used as stocking stuffers.

The Marines have been making Christmas wishes come true for needy children since 1947. Not one dollar is ever used to pay a salary; the program is run totally by volunteers under the leadership of the United States Marine Corps Reserve. The Toys for Tots motto is “Every child deserves a little Christmas.” Volunteers work hard to make sure that all children are shown someone cares, that they are not forgotten, and that Christmas did not pass them by. Last year, the Marines provided toys to more than 18,000 area children. To date, they have distributed 584 million toys and supported 265 million children.
