Atomic Holiday Bazaar returns to the Sarasota Municipal Auditorium on Saturday, December 14 and Sunday, December 15. Atomic closed for two seasons due to the Covid Pandemic, then reopened at Robarts Arena while downtown construction for The Bay Sarasota and city streets occurred; it was always the producer’s goal to return to its original event site, the iconic Municipal Auditorium!

With the return to Atomic’s “home base” Adrien Lucas is excited to introduce her new business partner, Monica Eshkoli, who will be responsible for producing the Atomic street fair. Monica has a robust retail and event production background and is the perfect fit for running the street fair having produced events such as: downtown SRQ’s annual White on State, eFests, running retail boutique Freaky Tiki Surf Shack on Main Street and  over a decade as manager of The Giving Tree in St. Armand’s Circle. Monica and her husband, Nir also have an extensive history with Atomic either working as vendors or helping Adrien with most Atomic shows at various capacities. Adrien is happy knowing that Monica “has the chops, Atomic style and work ethic” to successfully take over ownership and management of the Atomic street fair.

The street fair is located on Plaza De Santo Domingo which are two one way streets between the Municipal Auditorium and the Art Center. In the past Atomic was only on one side of the streets, however, this year, the street fair will be populated on both sides! The fair will showcase more food trucks, rolling wheels retail experiences, think refurbished school bus or Canned Hams or vendors who prefer working outside under their 10×10 tents!

The main room for Atomic’s municipal auditorium is sold out already! However, the Bay Front room will be opened in order to accommodate more talented makers. Applications to apply for either the Street Fair or the Bay Front room are available at the Atomic website: www.atomicholidaybazaar.com with spots selling out quickly, makers are encouraged to apply today.

Atomic features a fresh range of handmade indie artsy-crafty items for all and is the place for shopping for last minute holiday gifts.

Tote bags are passed out by local roller derby league, the Bradentucky Bombers, to the first 100 adult’ish humans who enter the main auditorium at the stroke of Noon at the beginning each show. Totes feature artwork created specifically for the show and are filled with vendor swag and coupons that may be used during Atomic.

Admission to the Main Auditorium is $6 for adults, kids 12 and under get in free. On a budget? The Bay Front room and Street Fair are free to enter. Food trucks and the auditorium cantina will be open for hungry shoppers.  Atomic is family friendly to PG-Rated adult content.
