Announcing the 2025 Joey Gratton Tennis Championship and the Tennis Ball: Dîner on Blanc

One of Sarasota’s most popular series of tennis events will soon kick off with exciting activities, featuring athletic excellence and empowering the area’s next generation of leaders. The 14th Annual Joey Gratton Tennis Championship will take place March 29-30, 2025, followed by the Elizabeth Moore Sarasota Open from April 6-13, 2025. The Tennis Ball: Dîner en Blanc celebration will take place on April 11, 2025, and the final event, The Juice Plus+ Pickleball Championship, will round out the series on April 26, 2025.

All events, except for the Juice Plus+ Pickleball Championship, will take place at the Sarasota Sports Club. The Pickleball Championship is set to be hosted at Dill Dinkers Pickleball.

These prestigious events celebrate the best in athleticism while supporting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota and DeSoto Counties Foundation. The mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota and DeSoto Counties Foundation is to provide sustained financial support for the future of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota and DeSoto Counties, which works to enable all young people, especially those who need its services the most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.

The partnership with the Elizabeth Moore Sarasota Open continues to play a vital role in raising much-needed funds for the Foundation. This collaboration strengthens the Sarasota community by offering life-changing opportunities to the youth we serve.

The 2025 events promise to bring together athletes, community leaders, and supporters to raise funds for the Boys & Girls Clubs. Co-chaired by Barbara Lancer, Amy Lyons, and Yudi Carpenter, these events embody the collective spirit of giving back to the community. Since 2012, this series has raised more than $2.6 million for Boys & Girls Clubs youth.

This series isn’t just for tennis players, though. The Tennis Ball: Dîner en Blanc will be an unforgettable evening of excitement, inspiration and impact. Guests are encouraged to dress in white and enjoy gourmet food stations, a special dessert station, an open bar and an auction while watching incredible displays of athleticism at the semifinals of the Elizabeth Moore Sarasota Open.
