All Star Children’s Foundation Welcomes Amy Farrington

All Star Children’s Foundation has welcomed Amy Farrington to its board of directors. Farrington is an attorney at Persson, Cohen, Mooney, Fernandez & Jackson, P.A. She started her legal career in the Florida Legislature and has since gained experience in the public, private, and non-profit sectors. Prior to joining the firm, Farrington worked with the Manatee Chamber of Commerce, University of South Florida, Florida Department of State, and in private legal practice. She most recently served as a consultant for area, state, and national non-profit and membership organizations focusing on administration, governance, and organizational development.
Farrington is also actively engaged in the local community, volunteering with organizations such as Bradenton Kiwanis, Dive into Reading, and the Manatee County Humane Society. She has also participated in local leadership programs, including Leadership Manatee and Leadership Sarasota.
Graci McGillicuddy, chair of All Star’s board of directors, says that “Amy’s extensive experience in legal practice, public service, and nonprofit consultancy brings invaluable insight and expertise to All Star. Her dedication to community service and organizational development aligns perfectly with our mission to support and uplift children and families in need.
