Aimee Cogan is the quintessential planner. When she’s leading the charge, the plan will be thorough down to the last detail, whether it’s for a trip or a complex financial plan for a multigenerational family. As managing director and founding member of the Bellwether Group at Morgan Stanley, she gives her clients confidence that her keen planning skills are focused on the security and financial well-being of themselves and their families. 

From an early age, Aimee recognized her affinity for math and finance.  While she was attending University of Florida, her grandfather passed away and left her grandmother to handle finances, which she found intimidating and stressful.  Aimee helped her grandmother sort through everything and discovered her life’s calling. Upon graduation, she found an opportunity in private banking at the Sarasota office of a major regional bank and went on to obtain several professional designations and achieve national recognition among her peers. Wanting to do even more for her clients, Aimee joined Morgan Stanley, where she now serves as a managing director and financial advisor. She formed the Bellwether Group at Morgan Stanley, which has grown to a group of ten members with diverse skills who provide comprehensive wealth management services to their clients. 

Aimee—who is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®), Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®), family wealth director, and alternative investment director—has been consistently recognized on Barron’s and Forbes Top Women Wealth Advisors lists, as a Top Wealth Advisor Mom by Working Mother and SHOOK Research, and as a Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Advisor*.
