The Sarasota Concert Association’s Great Performers Series continues its 80th anniversary season with three extraordinary performances. Beginning with an upcoming performance of the Czech National Symphony Orchestra with pianist Maxim Lando, followed by a celebration of the 300th Anniversary of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, and ending with a season finale featuring the National Symphony Orchestra with extraordinary violinist Hilary Hahn, the season is highlighted by world-class artistry and unforgettable programs.

Czech National Symphony Orchestra | February 13, 2025
Taking the stage at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall, the Czech National Symphony Orchestra will present a program highlighting Czech music’s beauty and beyond. Led by conductor Jan Chalupecký, the orchestra will perform Mozart’s “Prague” Symphony No. 38 and Dvořák’s Piano Concerto featuring 21-year-old international competition winner Maxim Lando. Known for their dynamic energy and precision, this orchestra is a must-see for classical music enthusiasts.
Vivaldi 300th Anniversary Celebration | March 14, 2025
Celebrate the legacy of Antonio Vivaldi at the Riverview Performing Arts Center with a concert marking the 300th Anniversary of the publication of the composer’s The Four Seasons. The concert features violinist Theotime Langlois de Swarte performing with the renowned French Baroque ensemble Les Arts Florissants in an evening of Baroque classics, from Vivaldi to Monteverdi.

National Symphony Orchestra | March 24, 2025
The National Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Music Director Gianandrea Noseda, takes the stage at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall for a stunning conclusion to Sarasota Concert Association’s 80th Anniversary season. The program includes Beethoven’s powerful Symphony No. 5 and Korngold’s virtuosic Violin Concerto, featuring internationally-renowned violinist Hilary Hahn.
