Hope in Bloom

Jewish Family & Children’s Service (JFCS) of the Suncoast is delighted to announce its inaugural Hope in Bloom Luncheon on Sunday, March 9, 2025, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the beautiful Marie Selby Botanical Gardens, located at 1534 Mound Street, Sarasota.

This elegant brunch and cocktail gathering celebrates the seeds of hope sown within our community and honors the transformative contributions of community leaders Jo & Stan Rutstein. Event Co-chairs Kathie Roberts and Ellen Goldner invite you to join us for this meaningful occasion.

Jo & Stan Rutstein have been unwavering supporters of JFCS since 2010. Most recently, their generosity has benefited the Adolescent Diversion & Assistance Program (ADAP), which serves youth aged 11-17 who are involved with the juvenile justice system or exhibit behaviors placing them at risk of such involvement. The Rutsteins dedication has been instrumental in enabling JFCS to provide vital services and opportunities for youth in need.

Tickets are available for $200 per person, with proceeds directly benefiting JFCS’ counseling services for youth, families, and seniors. These funds will empower individuals with the tools and skills to build resilience and achieve greater stability and well-being. Entrance to the Selby Botanical Gardens is included with each ticket, and guests are welcome to spend the afternoon exploring the gardens following the event.

“Where flowers bloom, so does hope.” JFCS provides a garden of services for children, youth and families who seek therapy, educational opportunities, financial assistance, and other supportive services. At JFCS, we plant the seeds of success today that bloom tomorrow.
