Fresh Fridays Unwinds on Palm Avenue

Fresh Fridays is bringing only good vibes as we head into May with their newest event, Vibes on Palm. With 2000+ attendees for the past several events, the popular downtown community block party expects another huge turnout. The event will be held on May 3, from 7-10 pm, on Palm Avenue, between Cocoanut Ave and Main Street, adjacent to the Art Ovation Hotel.

Vibes on Palm invites the community to soak up the vibrant atmosphere of downtown Sarasota! Attendees will have the opportunity to bop to bluesy rock with live music, sip on cooling beverages, savor tantalizing flavors from local restaurants, and partake in classic backyard lawn games. “The vibes here in downtown Sarasota are incredible,” says Joseph Grano, President of Next-Mark, and Fresh Fridays event organizer and promoter, “and the goal of Fresh Fridays is always to share that with residents and visitors alike.” 

As the musical entertainment for the night, Fresh Fridays is thrilled to welcome back The Alan Grant Band! Alan Grant’s music blends an upbeat groove-driven guitar sound across a wide variety of rock, blues, and country-tinged tunes. Whether the band is performing at a large concert venue or for a smaller crowd, audiences all over have embraced them enthusiastically.

Attendees can immerse themselves in downtown’s food scene with a variety of bites from local hospitality partners, including Element, Duval’s, Brick’s Smoked Meats, Mattison’s, Art Ovation Hotel, and sister restaurants BESO and State Street Eating House + Cocktails.

Fresh Fridays wouldn’t be complete without a few bonuses. Partygoers can play leisurely games of cornhole, mega Jenga, and giant Connect Four with family and friends, along with free signature giveaways. Giveaways will be handed out until supplies last.
