The Literacy Council of Sarasota (LCS) is celebrating its 17th Annual Literacy Matters Luncheon fundraiser, on Thursday, February 22nd, at Michael’s On East, Sarasota, FL.
The event starts at 11:00 AM with a wine reception and features MC Jeffery Kin, Executive Director of Sarasota Rising, who will guide program highlights that include guest speaker Deidra Mayberry (Executive Director of Rising to New Heights, Dallas, TX), adult learner testimonials, Volunteer of the Year Award, and the James E. Duffy Friend of Literacy Award. All event proceeds will benefit LCS literacy programs and services.
