The Child Protection Center, Inc. (CPC) is honored to host the 10thAnniversary Celebration of Blue Ties & Butterflies at Michael’s on East on the 29th of March.
The celebration will begin at 6PM with a focus on the past, present, and future of the Child Protection Center and the progress made in the fight against child abuse. “When CPC opened its doors 43 years ago, nobody talked about child abuse,” said Doug Staley, the Executive Director of the nonprofit. “We have slowly changed that narrative by bringing these difficult discussions out of the shadows and creating ripples of hope that today, 43 years later, are waves for change. Your support is helping to give children their childhood back.”
Blue Ties & Butterflies will feature a powerful Mission Moment with a survivor of child abuse, a live auction, a $100k match for the paddle raise, as well as the opportunity to meet the therapy dogs of the PAWS Program. The gala is co-chaired by Jennifer Douglas and Margie Socol.
