SchenkelShultz Architecture is pleased to welcome Daniel Dennehy to the Sarasota office as a Construction Administrator. With the strategic addition of Dennehy, the firm is focused on expanding its presence in the region and continuing its long-term commitment to Florida’s Gulf Coast.
Dennehy brings over three decades of experience in construction and project management, primarily in the education market. He has a diverse, well-rounded background, having served as the Director of Construction, overseeing campus development and facilities management at a local private preparatory school.
“Dan’s strong attention to detail, particularly as it relates to the construction of our projects, will strengthen the service we provide to our clients throughout the region,“ said Kenneth G. Dean, AIA, Partner with SchenkelShultz, and leader of the firm’s Sarasota office.
Dennehy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture and Construction Management degree from the New York Institute of Technology. He has been an active member of the community for more than 19 years, having served on the Community Development Board for the City of Clearwater, and the Planning Board for the City of Dunedin.
SchenkelShultz has maintained an office in Sarasota since 2008. The firm’s current local projects include Booker High School’s Visual Performing Arts Center for Sarasota County Schools, Palmetto High School Addition for The School District of Manatee County, The City of North Port’s Fire Station 81 and Sarasota County Fire Department’s New Administration Center and Fire Station #23.
