Sarasota Contemporary Dance is thrilled to announce their 2022-2023 In-Studio Series! Sarasota Contemporary Dance’s In-Studio Series is an incubation platform for artists in varying stages of their careers. Conceived by Artistic Director Leymis Bolaños Wilmott, the series provides creators with a nurturing and formative artistic opportunity and gives them access to SCD’s home studio and its resources. Whether artists show a work-in-progress or add the final touches to a developed work, each residency culminates in a live performance and Q&A with the featured artist.
For SCD’s 17th Season, we are welcoming a wide range of local artists to present new works at SCD’s Home Studio. With the featured artist ranging from dancers, musicians, poets and more, SCD’s In-Studio Performance Series will offer a diverse and immersive performance experience for the community to enjoy!
