JMX Brands CEO Jim Miller is pleased to announce that Kari-Jo Koshes, DBA, director of stores and fulfillment has been accepted to the Leadership Florida program. Joining JMX Brands in 2013, Koshes currently oversees innovations in product delivery, manages the LaGrange, Indiana warehouse and outlet store, and supervises the experience and ongoing expansions of DutchCrafters showrooms in Sarasota; Alpharetta, Georgia; Howe, Indiana; and plans for future showroom locations.

Koshes’ educational achievements include a bachelor’s degree in general business with a minor in international business from the University of Central Florida. She earned her MBA and DBA from Columbia Southern University and is a 2019 graduate of Leadership Sarasota County.

“Leadership Florida is a very exciting opportunity,” said Koshes. “I really enjoyed the Leadership Sarasota County group and learning from successful local leaders. It’s always been important to me to be a good leader. I want to build successful teams and help people around me grow and feel successful.

“We meet every other month, going to a different city in Florida each time,” Koshes added. “So, we experience leadership in cities that are leading Florida. They have an annual meeting once a year to network with all the alumni. This program is competitive. I am so blessed. I want to be sure I learn all I can from this experience.”

The mission of Leadership Florida is to continually discover and convene committed individuals, enhancing and recharging their leadership skills by introducing them to a powerful community through whom they find knowledge and inspiration. Essential information is accessed, and opportunities are created for shared experiences that are inviting, inspiring, and of lasting value.

Leadership Florida programs specialize in helping members develop unique leadership skills and strategies; experience Florida’s diverse cultural areas; discuss business challenges and build a supportive network of collaborative leaders with shared goals to better the state of Florida.

JMX Brands CEO Jim Miller said, “Dr. Kari-Jo Koshes has been influential in driving revenue growth from $3.6 to $24.5M, improving profitability, launching strategic initiatives, and developing an award-winning culture, where she is often named as a role model by employees.”
