Conservation Foundation to Host Summer Food Truck Series

Conservation Foundation of the Gulf Coast invites the community to a monthly summer Food Truck Friday Night series at their Bay Preserve headquarters in Osprey. Enjoy food and fun with friends while taking in a summer sunset at this family-friendly event.

This series is sponsored by: Herald Tribune, Florida Power and Light, Sarasota Scene, TreeUmph!, and the Community Foundation of Sarasota County. With special thanks to Florida Native Plants Nursery, Lowe’s Home Improvement, Purmort & Martin Insurance Agency, and Sovereign Plastic Surgery.   

Each month, from June through September, food trucks will be onsite serving up local flavor on the shores of Little Sarasota Bay, food prices vary by truck. There will be a raffle as well as some exhibitors/activity booths for everyone to visit and enjoy. Members of the Conservation Foundation team will be available to answer questions about their work. Attendees are encouraged to bring a chair or blanket for this picnic-style gathering.

The dates are as follows:

  • Friday, June 10, 5pm to 8pm 
  • Friday, July 22, 5pm to 8pm
  • Friday, August 19, 5pm to 8pm 
  • Friday, September 9, 5pm to 8pm 

Bay Preserve is located at 400 Palmetto Avenue in Osprey, Florida. This series is free and open to the public, however in an effort to ensure plenty of parking, RSVPs are requested. To RSVP or for more information, visit conservationfoundation.com/events.
