Boys & Girls Clubs’ Teens Help Non-Profits During Spring Break

WHO: Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota and DeSoto Counties is hosting its 8^th annual Alternative Spring Break. Each year, the organization invites local high school students to sign up for this free opportunity to connect with meaningful causes.

WHAT:

While high school students typically associate Spring Break with trips to the beach or a week of relaxation, 40 teens will join Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota and DeSoto Counties for the 8th Annual Alternative Spring Break (ASB) March 14-18 and dedicated hundreds of hours of community service to 9 local nonprofit organizations and community sites. ASB is a free opportunity offered each year by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota and DeSoto Counties for teens to experience, discuss and understand community issues in a meaningful way while earning community service hours.

WHEN: Monday, March 14 through Friday, March 18.
