The architecture and design firm of Clifford M. Scholz Architects, Scholz, Oswald & Shaffer LLC (CMSA) announced that it has moved to its new corporate headquarters at 2724 Fruitville Road, Suite 102, in Sarasota. This state-of-the-art facility was designed by CMSA and built by Jackson & Associates General Contractors.
Why the move? According to Clifford Scholz, CMSA’s principal and president, the new space reflects the organization’s unprecedented transformation in the past two years.
“While accommodating a growing staff and client load, the new facility will also showcase the CMSA brand. We designed our new office interior in a functional, modern style,” Scholz says. “The building is a transitional adaptation of a traditional style that is timeless. Its details incorporate the materials that we use in our designs every day. Form follows function—but it is not a utilitarian equation. In terms of user experience, it is also a great place to work! We literallydesigned the kind of office space we would love to work in. Our clients can clearly see we can do the same for them.”
He notes that the space comprises an open studio environment with flexible workstations and two conference rooms. Architects and clients alike will enjoy a range of ergonomic features, including high ceilings and numerous windows providing abundant natural light.
