March 8, 2021 – Sarasota
Ryan Perrone, the owner and co-founder of the Sarasota-based luxury builder Nautilus Homes, was selected today as the winner of 2020 National Association of Home Builders Young Professionals Award for the region encompassing the southeastern United States and Puerto Rico. (The southeastern region of the United States includes Florida, Georgia, North Carlina, South Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee and Puerto Rico.) The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) is the nation’s leading trade association for homebuilders, developers, and contractors. Based in Washington DC, this prominent organization comprises a federation of 700 state and local associations revolving around the home building industry. The NAHB designed this coveted award to acknowledge young professionals’ hard work, achievements, dedication and outstanding potential, as they become leaders in the home building industry. Out of all of NAHB’s 700 satellite associations, only 15 finalists were chosen for this award in the entire United States.
“At first I thought I was building a house, then I realized I was building a company, and then I chose to help build a community,” says Perrone. “Every day, I rise to a greater challenge—to make the world a better place. This award is great recognition, but the changes that I have created are my biggest reward. I could not do it without those closest to me and I am deeply grateful for their support.”
The 2020 National Association of Home Builders Young Professionals Award is the latest in a series of Perrone’s professional honors and press recognitions. In 2020 alone, he was cited in Pro Builder Magazine’s 40 Under 40 List. Perrone also received the NAHB Nationals award for Best Interior Detailing over $2 Million, the Best in American Living Award for Best Design Detail, and the Best In American Living Award for Best Custom House between 4,001-5,000 square feet.
