Easterseals Happiness House will welcome Patrick Ryan as the agency’s Chief Operating Officer. Ryan will lead the agency’s day-to-day operations as it enters its seventy fifth year of providing services to children, youth and adults with disabilities and their families.
Ryan comes to the Easterseals family after a seasoned career with the YMCA, serving most recently as Chief Operating Officer at the Merrimack Valley YMCA in Massachusetts. Before moving to Massachusetts, he served at the Sky Family YMCA in Venice for 17 years. He has also held positions with the Englewood facility.
Ryan will be a key leader within the organization to implement short-term as well as long-range strategies designed to accommodate the agency’s continued growth and objectives. He will strengthen collaborative partnerships as Easterseals continues to lead through the power of partnership.
“As our agency sets forth on its next chapter and 75th Anniversary, we’re establishing essential priorities and strategies as we continue to serve the ever-growing needs of those with autism and other disabilities as well as their families, throughout Southwest Florida,” President and CEO Tom Waters said.
“We are excited to have Pat join us. Given his love of our community and established service record here, the fit was a natural. We’re excited about all that lies ahead, especially as we enter such an important year in Easterseals’ legacy here.”
Ryan will begin his role at the agency on Oct. 2.
