Sarasota, Fla., September 3, 2020–Williams Parker is pleased to share that partner Elizabeth M. Stamoulis has been named “Young Professional of the Year” by the Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce. The award honors a local young professional who has demonstrated formidable leadership in personal, professional, and community capacities and was awarded at the 2020 Frank G. Berlin Sr. Small Business Awards, which took place virtually August 28.
Ms. Stamoulis leads Williams Parker’s intellectual property practice. She represents companies and individuals, helping them protect their creative works, proprietary information, and goodwill and helping with day-to-day corporate advice. She regularly provides guidance regarding copyright, trademark, trade secrets, and general internet law matters along with business formation, contracts, and transactions. She represents a wide variety of clients, from business owners, entrepreneurs, real estate developers, investors, and healthcare entities to authors and illustrators. Ms. Stamoulis serves as Legal Counsel to the Board of Directors of the Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the Ivy League Young Alumni Club, Dartmouth Club of Sarasota, and the Sarasota County Neighborhood Initiative Grant Advisory Committee. Ms. Stamoulis is a 2019 recipient of the Business Observer’s 40 Under 40, a Florida Super Lawyers Rising Star, and Florida Trend Up and Comer. She is a graduate of Stanford Law School and Dartmouth College.
