Two Sarasota Public Relations Professionals Named To FPRA State Executive Board

Sarasota, Fla. – August 4, 2020 – Kim Livengood, APR, CPRC, and Elise Ramer, APR, have been appointed to the Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) State Executive Committee. Livengood will serve as the organization’s Vice President of Member Services, and Ramer will serve as the Vice President of Golden Image beginning in September.

FPRA is a statewide organization of public relations professionals with 15 chapters, including the Central West Coast chapter covering the Sarasota/Bradenton area.

Livengood’s responsibilities will include working closely with chapter membership chairs and the state membership team to plan and implement the membership and renewal drives. Ramer’s responsibilities include working with the local Image chairs to ensure they follow the state guidelines while overseeing and coordinating the judging process for the statewide competition and scripting, planning, and presenting awards for an event featuring over 100 winners. 

The two are completing their 2019 – 2020 terms on the Central West Coast chapter board, where Livengood is the chapter President and Ramer is the Director of Image Awards. 

Aside from their professional volunteerism, Livengood owns The Eclipse Agency, The Bazaar on Apricot and Lime, and the newly open Hamlet’s Eatery. Ramer is the Senior Director of Public Relations for Premier Sotheby’s International Realty.
