Providing Healing in a Time of Uncertainty, Sirius Welcomes New Addition Dr. Tamarra Geno

By  |

Amongst a challenging few months with a mandatory shutdown, rising cases, and ongoing anxiety for the community, Dr. Tamarra Geno couldn’t have come at a better time. Her solutions to address all types of concerns from stress, insomnia, nutrition to weightloss,  combined with her nurturing demeaner is a perfect addition to Sirius Day Spas’ repertoire.

Tamarra graduated from East West College of Natural Medicine with a Bachelor of Professional Health Science and a Master of Science in Oriental medicine. She is a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine and certified by NCCAOM, which encompasses acupuncture, herbology, and other modalities. She holds additional certifications in Acupuncture Point Injection Therapy and Low- level laser technology. During her intensive training, she held internships at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital and Ideal Balance: Center for Sports Medicine. After over 10 years of therapeutic massage and bodywork experience, becoming an acupuncture physician and doctor
of oriental medicine felt like a natural progression for Tamarra.

During her years in school, she had the opportunity at IMG Academy to work with multiple professional athletes, such as the San Francisco 49ers and Oakland Raiders,  World’s Strongest Man competitors, Olympic athletes, and more. In 2009, she received her Associate of Science in natural health with concentration in advanced therapeutic massage from Florida College of Natural Health. Since then, she has pursued further training in neuromuscular therapy, sports massage, medi-cupping, yoga teacher training, Thai yoga bodywork, hot stone therapy, and essential oil therapy. She has been actively practicing acupuncture and oriental medicine and has since she received her national certification and Florida licensure, and she is excited to contribute her knowledge and experience to the Sirius Day Spa community.

Her offerings include full intake and acupuncture sessions as well as a myriad of homeopathic booster injectables which include
