The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Sarasota and Manatee Counties would like to welcome three members to our Board of Directors.
Lorrie Renfrow is a Broker Associate with Keller Williams Realty Gold serving Sarasota and Charlotte Counties in southwest Florida. Lorrie is trained as a NAMI Family Support Group facilitator and Family to Family teacher. She has a degree in Child Development Education from Manatee Community College.
Gene McIntyre is a minister, senior Human Capital and Development leader, and an emotional intelligence coach. Gene is currently the Organizational and Talent Developer with Sun Hydraulics. She is also an Associate Pastor with The Altar Congregation in Bradenton, Florida. Gene is trained as a NAMI Family Support Group facilitator. She received her Juris Doctorate in Law and Political Sciences from the University of Panama.
Anne L. Weintraub, Esquire, is an attorney and consultant in Sarasota, Florida assisting individuals, businesses and non-profits. Anne is a co-chair of NAMI Sarasota and Manatee Counties An Emerald Evening fundraiser and involved with numerous charitable activities and events in the community. She received her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law.
NAMI board members can serve two, three-year terms.
NAMI is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health advocacy organization supporting individuals living with mental illness, their families and caregivers. NAMI Sarasota and Manatee Counties works in our community to improve the lives of individuals with mental illness, as well as the lives of their families and caregivers, through support, education, awareness, and advocacy.
