The Circus Arts Conservatory Team is excited to launch CAC Connects, a new online platform to bring Performance, Training, Education & Outreach into our community in an innovative way during this challenging time.
Social distancing has put a temporary hold on many experiences and events but The CAC has found a way to continue to bring circus to patrons everywhere with CAC Connects – an initiative that invites everyone to join online experiences in circus inspired educational activities & lessons, healthcare programs, circus fitness and even enjoy a show. These online presentations will offer respite from the anxiety the outbreak has caused and will give parents fun and different ways to entertain their children who are home from their regular activities. Weekly schedules will be posted to The CAC website – CircusArts.org and patrons will be able to participate in Facebook Live presentations and enjoy video programming on their YouTube page. Viewers are encouraged to engage with performers leading fitness classes and participate in the education and healthcare presentations through comments on the social media pages. Updates will also be included in future CAC e-newsletters as more learning opportunities are rolled out.
Everyone is invited to bring the circus home – to laugh, engage and put aside the rest of the world for a while.
“Like many businesses and organizations at this time, The CAC is harnessing the power of technology to expand the ways people may connect to the Circus Arts,” said Pedro Reis, Founder and President of The CAC. “With so many people at home who are looking for opportunities to learn and not feel isolated, The CAC is here to serve because that is what the organization does best – it connects the world through the wonder of the Circus.”
