The Manatee Players Inc. CEO completes CAP® Designation

The Manatee Players Inc. Chief Executive Officer Janene Amick completed here CAP® Designation through The American College of Financial Services. In completing this course she becomes one of the few in the region to hold this designation.

The Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® (CAP®) designation gives you the power to make a difference in your career and in the world at large. Focused on the best strategies for philanthropic planning, the three-course CAP® program will teach you the skills you need to advise clients on charitable giving or guide charitable organizations in their fundraising efforts. It’s an excellent addition to any financial or nonprofit career—and because The College has a mission of bettering society, you can take advantage of special, nonprofit pricing if you’re a nonprofit professional.

Janene M Amick focuses her entrepreneur spirit at the helm of Manatee Performing Arts Center as CEO. Janene joined the company in 2005 and leads her team with a philosophy of “Lead with your Strengths”. Her experience spans multiple sectors – arts, marketing, corporate entrepreneurship and nonprofit management.

Recognized as a grassroots leader in her community Janene is a Past President of the Bradenton Kiwanis Club, a member of the Manatee Community Federal Credit Union Board of Directors, a recipient of the Ed Hunzker Hospitality Leadership Award (2019), Lifetime Achievement Award (2017 Presidential award for community volunteer service), Bradenton Sertoma’s Service to Mankind award (2017) as well as one of the BIZ (941) 2012 People To Watch. Janene earned the designation of CFRE (Certified Fund Raising Executive) from NCCA in 2016, holds a Certificate in Non-Profit Management from Winchester Center. She is a member of Bradenton Kiwanis, VFW Women’s Auxiliary, AFP, and the Bradenton Areas Cultural Advisory Committee.
