Local Public Relations Association to Present “Meet the Media” Event
The Central West Coast Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association (CWC-FPRA) is hosting its annual “Meet the Media” event, which offers guests an opportunity to network with local, regional and national media and get an insider’s look at today’s newsroom. PR and communications professionals, nonprofit groups, and other interested individuals will benefit from the opportunity to meet news representatives face-to-face and get expert advice on effective communications approaches, tips for story pitching and how to develop authentic relationships with the media.
The event will be held on Thursday, October 17, from 8:30-11:30 a.m. at the Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida (4780 Cattleman Road, Sarasota).
