As a Smithsonian Affiliate, The Bishop Museum of Science and Nature is pleased to once again announce our participation in Smithsonian magazine’s Museum Day — a day that allows guests to visit select museums nationwide for free.
Museum Day represents a nationwide commitment by Smithsonian to access, equity and inclusion. More than 250,000 people downloaded tickets for last year’s event, and Museum Day 2019 is expected to attract more museumgoers than ever before. The event is sponsored at The Bishop by Mosaic.
The day’s events will include special activities along with live presentations about manatees, and live star talks in The Planetarium throughout the day. (View the schedule)
