99 Bottles Celebrates 5th Anniversary with Block Party on April 13th

99 Bottles Taproom & Bottle Shop, the local bar known for the experience of extraordinary craft beer and boutique wine located in downtown Sarasota, will celebrate its 5^th Anniversary this April. To celebrate the event, 99 Bottles will host a block party unlike any other on April 13^th from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. featuring live music, food trucks, rare beer pours, a collaborative beer release, and more.

Since opening in April 2019, 99 Bottles has quickly become a staple in the local Sarasota craft beer scene. The narrow, intimate space has been built by a team of passionate hospitality professionals. It isn’t a brewery.  It’s not just a bar. Named one of the best beer shops in the United States by Wine Enthusiast Magazine, it’s where someone who loves great beer has let their imagination run wild. 

99 Bottles has created a drinkable gallery in an arts-driven town with 34 draft beers, 36 wines by the glass, and a retail wall featuring wine, beer, and more.  It offers daily specials, events, pop-up kitchens, and its well-known Real Deal New York Bagel Brunch every weekend. 

The Block Party will mark half a decade of serving exceptional craft beer and experiences to the Sarasota community, but it also marks a moment to thank the customers and the incredible staff for supporting 99 Bottles over the years.  The event is open to all, and attendees can expect to experience rare and exclusive beers from renowned breweries, great bites from local food trucks, and more.

“It’s truly an honor and we are incredibly grateful to our amazing customers, local community, and incredible staff for the unwavering support over the past five years,” says Mark Tuchman, owner of 99 Bottles. “We’re still here – and, this celebration is our way of saying thank you while recognizing all the fun we’ve had together, with much more to come.”

A highlight of the event is the release of two special collaboration beers: Hazy IPA brewed with 3 Sons Brewing and an Imperial Stout brewed with Magnanimous Brewing. Both beers will be available to enjoy at the event as well as to take home in cans and bottles.

Attendees will also not want to miss out on the 99 Bottles version of the “golden ticket.” One lucky attendee will be the recipient of free beer for the (rest of) the year. All attendees have a chance to enter to win.
