The Golden Apple Dinner Theatre Executive Director Robert Ennis Turoff is thrilled present the off – Broadway smash hit “The Marvelous Wonderettes”. Created by Roger Bean, “The Marvelous Wonderettes” is a charming musical that puts a smile in your heart and a tap in your toes! Winner of the Ovation Award for Best New Musical, this new musical takes the audience on a journey to the 1958 Springfield High School prom. Betty Jean, Missy, Suzy and Cindy Lou are four girls with hopes and dreams as big as their crinoline skirts and voices to match! As we learn about their lives and loves, we are treated to the girls performing such classic 50’s and 60’s songs as Lollipop, Dream Lover, Stupid Cupid, Lipstick on Your Collar, Mr. Sandman, Kiss Me, It’s My Party, It’s In His Kiss (The Shoop Shoop Song) and so many more! Featured in this production are Golden Apple favorites; Samantha Barrett as Suzy, Sarah Farnam as Missy, Heather Kopp as Cindy Lou and Kyle Turoff as Betty Jean.
